Description
UMI SAN was hired to manage and supervise one of the largest dredging projects in the world in 2017, if not the largest project, involving 36 million m³ to be dredged at Terminal 1 of the Port of Açu, in just 5 months.
In addition to managing and supervising 4 simultaneous dredgers, UMI SAN was hired to move the articulated buoys for dredging and to carry out the final bathymetric survey to update the nautical elements.
The project was successfully completed, without any complaints, within budget, reaching the 25-meter depth desired by the client.
