UMI SAN was hired to develop the entire dredging engineering project (PED) for deepening Porto de Tubarão, involving a series of studies with various types of surveys (bathymetry, seismic, Sonography, jet-probe, geotechnical drilling with self-lifting platform, among others).  After the project, UMI SAN participated in the management and supervision of the dredging and sinking work, as well as carrying out the multi-beam bathymetric survey Category A, reaching the altitude of 25.30 meters, allowing the entry of the largest ships in the world (VALEMAX).
