UMI SAN was contracted to supply 4 submersible articulated buoys (BAS), as well as the deployment in the Contunduba Canal, the main aquaviar access to the Port of Rio de Janeiro. In addition to the buoys, UMI SAN provided 4 lanterns equipped with AIS. After implementation, there was the permission for the entry and exit of large ships at night, reducing the overload in 8 hours to 50% of the ships that access the Port of Rio de Janeiro, increasing the competitiveness of the terminal.
