UMI SAN offers services in the areas of Hydrography and Oceanography in coastal and inland areas (rivers, lakes and dams).
- Bathymetric Surveys (Multibeam and single beam)
- Sonographic Surveys (Side Scan Sonar)
- High resolution seismic surveys (shallow seismic)
- Monitoring of currents, waves, wind, rainfall, variation of stratification (ie.: temperature, salinity and turbidity) and suspended sediment concentration (SSC) throughout the water column.
Furthermore, UMI SAN performs collection and laboratory analysis of water samples (ie.: CSS and physicochemical analysis), surface sediment (ie.: tactile and visual, particle size and physicochemical analysis) and surface testimonies with the aid of divers (ie.: grain size, study of stratification and physicochemical analysis).
